The sacristy, projecting southeast, boasts an exterior wall adorned with an 18th-century mural depicting the Annunciation to Mary, alongside a depiction of Saint Christopher dating back to 1593.

The interior of the church is equally captivating. The main nave, significantly taller than the side aisles, is covered by a barrel vault with lunettes supported by encased pillars and services. In the side aisles, slanted altars house a painting of the death of Saint Francis Xavier, alongside late Gothic figures of Bishop Blasius and Saint Barbara, and another altar with a painting of Blessed Michelina before Calvary, with Saint Anthony of Padua below.

The pulpit, dating from 1753, showcases traditional forms embellished with leaf and bandwork, a testament to the Baroque style prevalent during its creation. The masonry gallery, with balustrade stucco from the second half of the 16th century, features supporting pillars adorned with figures of Saints Francis de Paula, Charles Borromeo, John Nepomuk, and Peter of Alcantara, crafted around 1760.

Among the church's notable artefacts is a Vesperbild from 1640, depicting Saint Magdalene. Several votive tablets from the 18th century, featuring the plague patrons Rochus and Sebastian, and portrayals of Wasserburg citizens from 1772, further enrich the church's historical narrative. An octagonal holy water font made of red marble, dating around 1520, stands as a testament to the church's enduring legacy.

The Organ

The organ, crafted by Anton Staller in 1979, is a modern marvel with 16 registers on two manuals and a pedal. Its presence adds a harmonious dimension to the church's ambiance, enhancing the spiritual experience for all who visit.
